چکیده
Wood is a hygroscopic biodegradable porous material widely used by men in the past to create artworks. Its total preservation over time quite rare and one of best modalities waterlogging. Observing anatomy waterlogged archaeological wood could also be complicated because its bacterial degradation. However, characterization morphology conservation state fundamental step before starting any restoration intervention as it allows extract information about climatic conditions human activities. In this work, micro-invasive approach based on combined use high-resolution magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) diffusion-nuclear (NMR) was tested both modern an ancient pine sample. Furthermore, completely non-invasive analysis performed using portable NMR. This multi-analytical NMR allowed highlight effect decay microstructure, through alterations pores size, tortuosity, images contrast compared one. work pointed out different but complementary multi-parametric that can obtained potential high-field MRI low-field detection diagnostic features.

متن کاملNuclear magnetic resonance imaging
This review covers the progress in the field of NMR imaging (NMRI), NMR microimaging, NMR microscopy or MR (micro) tomography as well as MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) over a period from June 2005 to may 2006 and is a continuation of the report from last year. The word ‘‘MRI’’ was used mostly in the medical or clinical field, but recently many authors in non-medical field uses ‘‘MRI’’ instead...
متن کاملMagnetic resonance imaging of feline eye
The purpose of this study was to investigate magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the normal feline eyeand optic nerves using T1-weighted and T2-weighted images. A total of 6 healthy female domestic short haircats age 2-2.5 years and weighing 3.2 ± 0.4 kg were selected. Magnetic resonance imaging data werecollected using GEMSOW (Philips) at a magnetic field strength of 1.5 T. Dorsal, sagittal, a...
